This is a 1970s original sand painting of the Yei-Bei-Chai clown by Wilson Price Sr. from Tohatchi New Mexico.

The note on the back reads 

"Yei-Bei-Chai" (clown)

This here is called "Clown". He's the last one in line in navaho yei-bei-chai dance ceremony, which is also called "nine-day-night chant" Clown is always acting funny & making everyone laugh, mostly the patient. On the final night they usually dance all night until dawn.
