Vintage Stoneware Head Planter - Sculptural Human Face Ceramic Vase

A wonderfully unusual sculptural stoneware planter formed as a serene human head, with softly modeled facial features, an elongated neck, and a warm earthy glaze ranging from cream and tan to deep brown. The open crown was designed to hold plants, allowing trailing or upright greenery to become the figure’s “hair” and giving the piece an especially surreal, organic presence.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Chipping and losses are present around the upper opening where the plant is placed, including a larger missing portion along the back of the head. Dirt and soil staining are present inside from previous use as a planter. Surface variations, marks, and irregularities are also visible throughout the handmade-looking stoneware body. The planter remains structurally intact and highly displayable. Please review all photos closely for condition.
