A wonderfully timeworn vintage wastebasket made in Japan, featuring a cylindrical pressed fiberboard body with a muted lacquered gold finish and contrasting black interior. Dark drip-like markings and naturally aged surfaces give this otherwise simple utilitarian piece a distinctive, moody character.

Condition
Good vintage condition with considerable cosmetic wear from age and use. Dark drip-like staining is present around all sides, along with scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and general finish wear. One small chip is present along the upper rim. Wastebasket remains structurally sound. Please review all photos closely for condition.
