Vintage Porcelain Aquarium Fish – Midcentury Angelfish + Pastel Glaze

A charming vintage porcelain aquarium fish featuring a dramatically sculpted angelfish form with sweeping fins and a stylized underwater base. Finished in soft mauve, cream, yellow, brown, and pale blue, the piece has the dreamy pastel coloring associated with midcentury decorative ceramics.

The hollow ceramic body features intentional openings in the chest and underside, allowing water to pass through when submerged and indicating that this little fish was originally made as an aquarium decoration.
