Vintage Papier Mache Trinket Box - Hand Painted Floral Kashmir Style

Dense with jewel-toned florals and delicate gold detailing, this vintage oval trinket box has the richly ornamented look associated with traditional Kashmiri papier-mâché work. Bright orange, turquoise blue, yellow, pink, and green flowers emerge against a black ground, while the lacquered interior keeps the piece dark and dramatic.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related surface wear. There are small flea-bite chips along the lid and wear where the lid and body meet, including some finish loss around the edges. The remaining paper of the original sticker is stuck to the bottom of the trinket box. No major structural cracks. Please review all photos closely for condition.
