Vintage Paper LIFE Magazine – U.S. Masons Freemasonry October 1956
A fascinating October 8, 1956 issue of LIFE devoted to the “busy brotherly world of Freemasonry.” Its primary eight-page color pictorial examines American Masonic rituals, degrees, traditions, and organizational structure, with the nation’s State Masonic Grand Masters assembled on the cover.

Fair vintage condition with heavy surface rubbing, scratches, creasing, edge tears, worn corners, and wear along the spine. The original subscriber mailing label remains attached to the front cover. Styling Notes
An unusual addition to a collection of Masonic memorabilia, secret-society ephemera, mid-century photography, or vintage American magazines. The ceremonial cover makes it an especially curious display piece for a study, library, or cabinet of historical oddities.
Additional Notes
Beyond the Masonic feature, this issue includes articles on the Suez Crisis, Eisenhower at Gettysburg, Babe Didrikson Zaharias, a 12-year-old Harvard student, atomic fusion, and the Bell System solar battery. All items are vintage and one-of-a-kind. Minor wear is part of their story.
A unique find and purr-fectly peculiar.
