Antique Metal Monastery Bell - Ornate Angel Dragon Wall Mount Latin Inscription

Equal parts Gothic and theatrical, this substantial monastery-style bell features an elaborate wall-mounted mechanism populated with a winged female figure, scrolling ornament, fantastical animal forms, and a large relief-decorated bell. The weathered gray-metal surface gives all of that intricate detail a wonderfully aged architectural presence.

The bell bears a variation of the traditional Latin inscription “Qui me tangit, vocem meam audit,” or “Who touches me hears my voice.”

Condition
Good vintage condition and structurally sound. Spotted white discoloration is present throughout the surface, possibly from old paint, mineral deposits, or prolonged outdoor exposure. There is oxidation/rusting to some of the hardware and considerable surface wear consistent with age and exposure. The original chain pull is missing, and two loose screws are included as photographed. Please review all photos closely for condition.
