Vintage Creek Chub Bait Co. Wood Fishing Lure - Pikie Minnow 700 Series with Original Box

Overview

A classic Creek Chub Pikie Minnow from the desirable 700 Series, complete with its original box and promotional pamphlet. Finished in a striking barred pattern with a red throat, this iconic American fishing lure remains one of the most collected and recognizable wooden lures of the twentieth century.

Condition

Very good vintage condition overall. The lure displays a crack extending from each eye, a common age-related issue with vintage wooden lures. There is slight chipping towards the "tail" end. The body retains strong color and presents beautifully. Hooks and hardware show rust oxidation and age-related patina. Original box and pamphlet are included and exhibit expected wear from storage and age. This piece appears as it it was not previously used but it's hard to tell. Please review all photos carefully.
