A beautifully crafted early 20th-century "The Gem" fabric pinker by Hammann & Co. of Syracuse, New York. This cast iron hand-crank sewing tool features a rotary pinking wheel designed to create a decorative zigzag edge on fabric, helping reduce fraying while adding a classic finish to sewing projects.
Condition
Good vintage condition with expected wear from age and use. The original black japanned finish shows light paint loss and edge wear consistent with decades of use. The crank turns smoothly, and the mechanism appears complete. Untested on fabric. Please review all photos for complete condition details.
