Vintage 1950s Lucite Box Purse – Charles S. Kahn Gold Confetti Clear Handbag

A fabulous piece of mid-century novelty fashion, this 1950s box purse was made by Charles S. Kahn, Inc. of Miami, Florida. The faceted translucent Lucite body is filled with fine gold-toned confetti threads, while the clear carved Lucite lid features an elegant floral and leafy motif. Finished with a rigid double Lucite handle and ball-topped metal clasp, it has the architectural shape and playful glamour that make original 1950s Lucite purses so collectible.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. The clear Lucite lid shows some internal crackling/crazing from age, but there are no chips or cracks. Gold-tone plating on the clasp has worn with use. Two of the feet have yellowed more noticeably than the others. Interior remains clean overall. Please review photos closely for condition details.
