Antique Celluloid Ring Box – Art Deco Ivorine Footed Presentation Case
Antique Celluloid Ring Box – Art Deco Ivorine Footed Presentation Case
A petite Art Deco ring presentation box in creamy ivory-toned celluloid, dating approximately to the 1920s–1930s. The molded case features a raised floral and foliate design across the lid, streamlined architectural detailing along the sides, and tiny integrated feet. Inside, a vivid blue velvet insert provides the perfect little stage for an antique engagement ring or favorite piece of jewelry. Comparable American celluloid presentation boxes are commonly attributed to the Art Deco period and were produced in numerous decorative forms for jewelers.
Condition
Good antique condition with age-related wear. There is pink staining on the top of the lid and a level of disintegration to the blue velvet interior. Minor surface marks consistent with age and use are present on the exterior celluloid. Please review photos closely for condition.
